Capone is a visual retelling of the rise and eventual fall of Chicago's most notorious gangster: Alphonse "Scarface" Capone. These images of Al Capone from the 1920s and 30s were digitized from glass-plate negatives and original prints made from glass plates. Many of these photographs had never been published before, giving Capone an enlightening new perspective. All of these images are historically significant to Capone buffs as well as photography buffs, who are sure to relish this glimpse into the photographic past.
