Here’s a collection of wonderful color photographs of daily life in Turkey from between the 1960s and 1970s taken by Turkish Armenian photojournalist Ara Güler, known as “the Eye of Istanbul” or “the Photographer of Istanbul”. He is considered one of Turkey’s few internationally known photographers.

I love these pics! My daughter goes to New Trier now and I showed them to her. She got a kick out of them too.
