20 Incredible Photographs of France Taken by Robert Capa During World War II

Robert Capa was one of the world's most distinguished war photographers. At the start of World War II, Capa was in New York City, having moved there from Paris to look for work, and to escape Nazi persecution. During the war, Capa was sent to various parts of the European Theatre on photography assignments.

Capa was killed in 1954 when he stepped on a landmine when covering the war in Indochina.
