Fernando Navarro Ruiz (1867-1944) was a Spanish photographer. In 1890 he opened a photographic studio in his hometown Totana and until 1916, when the studio was closed due the development of the possibilities of amateur photography, he was considered as a magnificent example of popular photography, focusing all its activities in what we would call social documentary of Totana. These portrait photos below were taken by Fernando from between 1896 to 1916.
