Completed shortly before this photo was taken by Darius Kinsey, the Cedar River trestle was exceptionally high for a pole-built trestle. A careful look shows that the structure was built in two "stories", each consisting of single vertical poles about a hundred feet long. The trestle was built by Pacific States Lumber Company to bring railway access to its company town, Selleck, located in southeast King County.
