“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” ― Albert Einstein
Arguably the most renowned physicist in history, Albert Einstein was visiting the USA in 1933 when Adolph Hitler came to power in Germany, so as he was Jewish, he did not return, and instead settled in America through the war. This photo was taken in 1933 at the home of a trustee for the California Institute of Technology (CalTech), where Einstein was completing a 2-month visiting professorship, and cycling was said to be his favorite pastime.
