Born 1940, American socialite, actress and model Baby Jane Holzer is best known as one of the early “Warhol superstars” in the 1960s. A fixture in New York’s avant-garde scene, she appeared in Warhol's films like Soap Opera (1964), Couch (1964), Batman Dracula (1964), and Camp (1965).
Holzer, from a wealthy family, was a muse to Warhol and a prominent figure in the social and cultural elite. She was also featured in fashion magazines like Vogue and remains an iconic figure of the 1960s counterculture.
