Throwback Photos of a Young Shakira Before She Was Famous

Some recently unearthed photos of a very young Shakira in the 1990s have made their way onto the Internet, and as it turns out, even celebrities go through an awkward phase. (The pants! Those bangs!).

Of course, Shakira still looks adorable posing for the camera. She broke out onto the music scene in 1991 with Magia, and even though the album wasn’t a huge commercial success, it put her on the map as a musician. Obviously, the rest is history!
